There’s a fish with your name on it in the Lower Roanoke River and Fireline Fishing will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Caylin can tell you all about the local fishery.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Striped Bass, Largemouth Bass, Shad, Catfish, Garfish, Crappie, and anything else that bites.
You’ll target your catch by trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing with artificial and live bait on light tackle. Capt. Caylin also offers fly fishing upon request.
Any fish you catch are yours to keep, provided they’re within size and bag limits. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan. Now that’s dinner!
You’ll step aboard a 22’ Sea Ark with room for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Caylin will supply all bait and tackle needed for your action-packed fishing adventure.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group over 16 years of age. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain to help walk you through the process.
All ages are welcome however, children 13 and younger must wear life vests. Life vests can be provided upon request.
Planning a family adventure? Let the captain know of anything you need to make your experience easier and more enjoyable.
Don’t forget to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Capt. Caylin will have some drinks available for you. There will also be some light snacks provided on board.
