Specializing in Eastern North Carolina fishing for inshore, nearshore, and offshore species, North State Guide Service prides themselves in ensuring that their customers have a trip to remember! They cover Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Topsail, New Bern, and Oriental, so you can pick what you want to catch and where.
Captain Jennings Rose invites you for an incredible day of fishing aboard his 23’ Custom Rose Bay center console that can take up to 5 anglers. Fresh on the water in 2018, it still has that new boat smell and comes with the latest marine electronics and safety gear. It features a 200 HP Yamaha engine, outriggers, downriggers, a wireless trolling motor, a live bait tank, and an ice-box. There’s also a wheelchair ramp available and a secured area onboard for the wheelchair.
You’ll get to try an incredible variety of techniques, including bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, drifting, and more. Fly fishing, Flounder gigging, and even bowfishing and spearfishing are also options if you let the captain know in advance so he can prepare the needed gear (up to 2 guests can fish at the same time when it comes to these techniques). Snorkeling gear can also be made available upon request.
And what about the species you’ll be targeting? You can go after Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Mackerel, Bonito, Grouper, Trout, Drum, Flounder, Redfish, and much more.
North State Guide Service provides everything you need to have a fun day on the water – their equipment is top-notch and includes Temple Fork Outfitters rods and various reels. You’ll also be provided with live bait, lures, and licenses. The captain will even clean your catch after the trip, so tips for his hard work are appreciated. Bring sunscreen, food and drinks, and a camera to capture all those unforgettable moments!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Capt. Jennings Rose and he’ll gladly tailor the trip to your needs!
